I finally found some spare time to finish my 2007 summary. Summer 2007, right, busy, very busy! The first holiday week was relax, realizing that I finished uni and then starting to think about Newcastle. Didn't have time for that for the next weeks! 2nd week I coached a youth trainingscamp for my club. Nice weather, kids were all exhausted by the end of the week, we had fun! The next week I was campleader for Sporta, a belgian sport organization in Oostduinkerke. A place at the small belgian coast. Again a nice week, mostly good weather, much sand and good company. Then I had a few easy days to start the next camp for Bloso. This camp we pretty much had the last week of'summer weather' in belgium. The august started with a week to arrange newcastle stuff, visit friends, bbq.... A week later, again a camp for Bloso, I mountainbiked twice in the rain, now my running shoes still smell like swamp! A few days homa again and I took off to St Aygulf, in the south of France near St Tropez. Very nice weather, many sports (climbing, mountainbiking, diving,...) And much sunbading, we even went a day to Monaco, it's nice (with extremely expensice cars and boats) but very small. In one day you have seen the whole thing. After this camp, I spend the rest of the holiday visiting friends, coaching and counting down till 14 september, the day I discovered Newcastle. And the rest of 2007 is been blogged about here (you can read it from the beginning).
